Thank you so very much for helping us identify these
folks and the engines that they brought. We think
that credit should go where credit is due, and
we want to be able to show these engines
and these faces on a "Special Features" section of
the Train Mountain 2003 Triennial DVD.
Note: The "lines" in the images are due to the
motion of the trains. These are video-capture
images, and video cameras "interlace" the
rows of pixles, scanning the odd rows first,
the even rows next. We'll digitally "massage"
the photos later to minimize that effect.
We are familiar with many of the faces, but
for the sake of simplicity, we've included everyone
in the parade who made it to the back side of
the turntable where our camera was.
To organize the information (and to make it
easier to reply), we've created this form.
Please return to mainline@sunset.net
Note: We
greatly appreciate all the help so far.
We have positive ID's on over 40 of the "suspects".
Now
there are only another one hundred to go. Thanks for the help,
and please send a link to your friends so they can help name
all these nice folks too.

(Those wide brimmed hats so many people had on
sure made a dark shadow on their faces! We've adjusted the brightness
/ contrast as best we could, but some are pretty difficult)
